读完了这部小说，使我知道了：葛朗台

方鸿渐的第二圈“围”就是给他带来多灾多难的假学位。方鸿渐到底是个知识分子，在买假的文凭之前，他也问问良心，他为自己起了最好的籍口：“父亲是科举中人，要看报条，丈人是商人，要看契据。”以他自己的口气，就是“说了谎话，还要讲良心。”说谎就说谎嘛，讲了良心这谎话就变得不伦不类了。既然讲良心，就干脆别买学位了。既然都不讲良心了，就干脆把学位发扬光大吧害得自己当个副教授忍气吞声的，两头不着岸。

方鸿渐一生的第三圈“围城”，我想没有人会反对，是他在处理感情问题时候的玩世态度。也许从第—，圈“围城”建立时，就决定了会有第二圈围城，就决定了会有第三圈围城了。在那个到处是“小人物”的时代，做个大人物并不是每个人都有能耐的。可是他还是希望做个大人物，买文凭时，希望自己能够使家翁感觉光耀门楣；买了文凭，又觉得有损道德。要知道，社会上只有两种人能够混得好。

Far more different from other heroines Carrie was not a plain pure angel like Snow-white nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch.

However anything she got anywhere she reached had not come from her ambition.

Things happened and then she accepted. That’s what she had just done ？ just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect.

It is a story filled with action， adventure, ingenious ideas， love， and schoolyard politics. the whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.

The book is a little difficult to read at first. personally， it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. other than referring to persons of african decent in derogatory terms (which im sure uses terms even young children already know)， the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. i highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again， if just for a few hundred pages.
