My hometown －－

We still remember the words, Let the stone carvings tell the world , there is a place named Qingtian in China. But now I want to tell you that there is a beautiful place called Shankou in Qingtian.

　　Shankou is the smallest town in Qingtian County. The population is over 10,000. It 's not far from the Town of Hecheng, about 10 kilometers. It's not only the hometown of the well-known persons, but also the hometown of the oversea Chinese. Of course ,as we all know that it's also famous for its stone carvings.

　　If you first come to Shankou ,there are many places to go and to see.You can go to The Town of Stone Carvings of China. There are hundreds of shops selling all kinds of stone carvings on the first floor. Many people who are makers live on the second and third floors. Not far from the town, you can see a beautiful house with a pretty garden, it's called Xi Shi Zhai. All the famous works that are made by Ni Dongfang are on display there.

　　If you are also interested in watching the beautiful scenery, I think you can't miss the chance to go to Qiansi Rock. Although it is only a small place, it's one of places of interest in Qingtian. There are small bridges, spring. The trees are green all the year around. Qiansi Rock is especial famous for it's the small waterfall. The water is falling down from the step summit. Under it is a pool , the water is cool and clear. All kinds of colourful fish are swimming freely in the pool. I think they are just like the people in Shankou , because both of them are free ,friendly and have a happy life.
